The American rock band Mötley Crüe was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981. Founded by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, the band also consists of  guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. Their ninth studio album entitled Saints of Los Angeles was released on June 24, 2008.
